Dealing with wedding couples

There’s a process every wedding couple every goes through when they get engaged to booking their wedding venue.

When you learn about the process a wedding enquiry becomes a lot less scary, you can see the stage every couple goes through and how you can make an impact at each stage.

Coordinators no longer need to throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks, I can give skills and processes for every stage. Once coordinators have a process for each stage of the enquiry they know exactly what they should be doing and they’re given a method they can follow.

Newly engaged wedding couples are emotional and overwhelmed. They have just reached a huge milestone in their lives and they are about to make a decision for one of the biggest events of their lives.

Most of the time when couples get in touch coordinators are the very first wedding professional that they speak to.

This is great news for wedding coordinators – they can make a HUGE impact.

Couples get engaged and then they start to research online for venues that tick some boxes. If they get in touch with you at the venue its because they looked online, you meet their requirements and they like what they see so far.

Years ago couples would visit 6-10 wedding venues before making a decision, now that is a lot less. Couples do A LOT of research online, they research & shortlist before doing any viewings.

In 2023 couples visit up to 3 venues before making a decision, this is great news for wedding venues, when a couple steps through your doors you have ½ or 1/3 chance of getting the booking!

There’s many “impression points” from couples getting in touch with you to making their decision where you can trigger emotion & make in impact.

In our sales training course we educate couples on the process and the impression points, I give exact ways on how you can trigger emotion in a positive way to get the sale!
